Just read both Vow and Promise – these were some of the most wonderful books I’ve read of yours so far! Vow was so beautiful, and the love story of Caine and Ara was so sweet and precious. You made it feel real, not contrived and not rushed. And then continuing with Fletch and Talia, what a wonderful love story, as they both filled up the other one. It really captures the essence of what it means to “become one flesh” as it states in the scriptures. Thank you for telling such compelling stories. Loved, loved, loved them! Glad I bought the Kindle version so I can read them over and over again!

Hi K.J. Love your books. They have and are giving me great pleasure reading them. I just got your latest email in witch you offer Oath as a freebie for the Holidays. However, they are not free. Just thought you might like to know. I tried both Amazon and Google to no avail. Have a Happy and fun HolidayπŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

        Hi & Merry Christmas, Annette!
You should have received an email from me that included links to the free books. Sometimes spam or a promotion tab gets it, so check in there, but if you can’t find it, let me know and I’ll resend.
        All the best!

Just finished and thoroughly enjoyed Worth of a Duke.. Found it very enjoyable with the perfect amount of twists and turns ! The characters are well drawn and quite human, not as one dementionable as I’ve found in many books in this genre.. I will certainly be looking for more from you…

I just finished The Worth of a Duke and really liked it. I used to read this genre all the time and am pleased to find someone is still writing them

    • kjkjackson says:

Thanks so much, Kerry! I’m obviously a lover of the genre as well! πŸ™‚ There are a number of great authors writing in this genre–Historicals never seems to die!

Just finished reading Worth of a Duke, and it was a wonderful read! The story line kept me intrigued until the very end, and Rowen and Wynne were wonderful characters…you weave quite a story and I loved it! Thank you.

I just finished Of Valor & Vice, it was absolutely wonderful! Toren and Ada are so captivating. I read Of Sin & Sanctuary first, two amazing books!!

    • kjkjackson says:

      Hi Dawn!
Thanks so much for dropping a note! This series is so much fun to be writing — I have a spin-off “short” novella coming in December on this series. And then it is on to number three in the mix! So keep your eyes peeled! πŸ™‚
      All the best!

    • kjkjackson says:

      Hi Barbara!
Thanks so much for the compliment! I’m so happy when I hear I’ve caused some missed sleep — it always makes me feel as though I’m doing something right!
      All the best!

I was wondering if your books oath, and promise is still on sale for$0.99
I just read my first book of yours and loved it so i’m hoping I’m not too late for this special price.

Hi, I was wondering now that you recent novel was just released, are you working on a new series? I’ve been loving all of your books!

    • kjkjackson says:

Thanks so much! So happy you’ve been reading and enjoying. And yes, I’m currently working on my next historical series, another three-setter (I like to write in threes, as much as I never intend to with these series!). Lady Desmond from Oath (the lady that ran the gaming house) is going to be the heroine in the third book in the series (yet to be named), so right now I am working on book one. The short synopsis of the entire series is about a gaming house that will get passed from friend to friend. I expect it to come out in late spring, assuming life doesn’t toss any hiccups my way.

      Have a great evening!

        • kjkjackson says:

Thanks for the question! Release for Oath will be in early January, but it is not available yet for pre-order. When it is, it will most likely be up on just on iBooks (because of how Amazon “counts” sales and how it will help/not help the book at launch).

Hopefully, you can/did sign up for my VIP Newsletter, which will let you know when Oath is ready to buy.
          All the best!

      Hi Tanya!
I just had a mental image of those two books devoured, bloody words jumbled and scattered all over a living room floor, a few letters flopping away. Waaay too much Halloween going on in my household! πŸ™‚ Love that you flew through them!

Book three in this series will be ready to roll by the end of the year, but we may push the release into January so as to not disappear into the holiday mayhem. So soon (but never soon enough, I know!)
      Have a great weekend!

I have a Nook and would like the Hold Your Breath novels in Nook. I’ve already ready the Stone Devil Duke and loved it. Went to get Unmasking the Earl and can’t get it on Noon. Please allow Nook readers access?

    • kjkjackson says:

      Hi Brenda-
It has been a while, but all of the Hold Your Breath novels (and my latest historical release, Worth of a Duke), are all available on Nook now.
      Happy reading!

  10. JoAnn Reed says:

I really enjoyed all three books and really liked how the last one ended. I’m glad you left the door open for possiblity of what could happen next. The characters do need some rest time, especially with new additions to the family. I’m always amazed with how authors, like you, are so creative to weave a story that makes a person feel like they are a part of it. I look forward to seeing what you will create for Shiv and Damon’s life. Thank you.

  11. Paula Smith says:

Read the three Flame books and totally loved them. Will you be writing any more in this series?
    Kind regards
    Paula Smith (avid reader!)

    • kjkjackson says:

      Hi Paula-
The answer is yes, but probably not as speedily as people seem to want! I’m on two completely different genre projects right now, and then back to the FM series. (I can’t wait!)
      Thanks for loving them!
All the best, and fantastic wishes for 2014!
